The GHSA Player of the Game program sponsored by Georgia Farm Bureau kicked off at the Winnersville classic last Friday. A rivalry that dates back to 1968, and never disappoints, was a fitting start for the 2017 football season. We arrived early stocked with boiled peanuts, fans, foam footballs and bam-bam sticks to hand out to assist in cheering on the teams. The Lowndes County staff was in full tailgate mode with each staff member dressed with their schools colors and each side taking turns in proclaiming who will be victorious.

It wasn't far into the tailgating chants that we met "Frasier the Rufferee"  and Asher Wildman from WCTV. Frasier the Rufferee is known for predicting who will win in the Winnersville Classic.

We think it is obvious that Frasier knows how to sniff out greatness as the Georgia Farm Bureau tent was his first stop when he arrived to the stadium!

Shortly after his visit we were proud to see our bam-bam sticks being used in the news clip as Frasier picked the Lowndes Vikings to win.

We are proud to have been a part of this rivalry for the last two years! Congratulations to the Players of the Game as it was truly a team effort.
