EFFINGHAM COUNTY RIVALRY | ECHS VS SEHS 2017
Hurricane Irma was strong enough to move a football game, but not enough to stop one of the states greatest rivalry games, Effingham County Vs South Effingham, that was founded in 1996, after Effingham County went from only having one high school to building the second high school (SEHS).
The Players weren't the only ones that came pumped and ready, The ECHS's Rebel Rousers dressed in Redneck Attire and the South Side Squad came with a "Black Out" to line the student sections. Only the 300+ member bands could penetrate the the roar of the fans as both bands joined together during the half time show. Truly a game of a celebrated rivalry that still holds sportsmanship and love of the game to heart.
